Having a 940 and 740 estate I really  like Volvo’s, this must be the ultimate Volvo though, great colour, good year and one owner, I don’t think a Volvo could get any better. If it stays under £1,500 I would be tempted to add it to my collection of  S reg executive cars.

I missed this one when it was on in October.

Last seen in this ancient photograph, I assume it had long been scrapped, but it's managed to hand on - just about - until now. I think its fate is sealed at this stage, sadly. Do wonder what was going on with the sealed air-intake and weird cowling round the engine with front-mounted spare wheel. Can't have had any cooling whatsoever.

Wiki says that they sold less than a thousand in the first year and were canned in 2007. Bet parts are cheap and plentiful...

Bodywork and trim bits would be awkward.  Mechanically most stuff will be either Alfa 159 or Vectra C.

Fair point, about half the cars on the road are a Vectra C underneath...

Probably used just for puttering about on a Sunday where the dodo rises and there's a blue moon at midday.

Exactly. It's criminally low priced... I'm sure I can muster space for another smol car somewhere.

I could probably sit it on the "crazy paved" bit of the driveway, but I think the rest of the family wouldn't like it. Haha.
