Looking online I see they made 50 diesel prototypes for evaluation. Do any survive?

Let us hope not.

Pictures are from 18 months ago, No MOT and the clutch needs doing but it’s £<500 which if it’s OK in the flesh could be a decent deal.

Last MOT was nearly 4 years ago and had a sticky calliper. It’s not been driven for 3 years and I guarantee you’ll have trouble with the entire braking system.

in addition,  DO NOT try and change the clutch on axle stands and even then, expect it to take twice as long as any other car you’ve done. Ask me how I know 😂

There’s a reason why the clutch is £80 and the labour over £300

This is still way too cheap for what it is. If it wasn't golden on the outside (most pics in that ad hide it fairly well) I'd be having this.

They say they want £8000 in the ad. So I expect this auction will be halted at some point.

You won then?

Yes! Now the seller better not screw me over and accept that I have won the auction.

I've tried talking to a guy with a LT1 caprice on Facebook but he seemed upset after I suggested it might not be worth £5000!

Yeah, seen that one being for sale for a while now. It might be, but not in the UK in that condition. Hence it not selling.
