This looks like excellent value by today's standards. Just needs some better number plates and off you go, a perfect 70s time capsule. If it wasn't 360 miles away I would be seriously tempted. To a Mondeo weirdo that's a real 'subject of interest' on an M plate it should probably be an Aspen - but no it's a plain old base.  But it's more than that, it's a base with the optional security pack - that's right ABS, rear headrests and passenger airbag in a base! Furthermore it's somehow got a sunroof, which I can't explain. @greengartside - if you still have Etis access I'd appreciate the forensics on this one please?

I believe they did a limited edition called the Aspen  alongside the Mistral and Ultima in 1994, essentially a Base but with sunroof, pockets on the front seats, Twin airbags and rear headrests. I have the brochure for it somewhere...

Thanks - I thought this might be an Aspen - but Cazana just says 'Ford Mondeo' which suggested it was a base. But then that's me relying on accurate classification by the DVLA.
