Is that Toyota in Claverham or Cleeve, SiC, looks ever so familiar.

Yes! Impressed you can tell from the photo.

Are you local to the area?

Used to be, I grew up in Congresbury and my mother-in-law is still there opposite the Ship and Castle - or the Congresbury Arms as it might be now?

Congresbury Arms I believe was taken over recently and when we went in there last it was very excellent.

You join a list of other shitters from North Somerset. For some reason there are quite a lot from around here. In Congresbury itself, @PhilA used to be a resident.

We've not long moved down here.

Also it appears that you now live near Sidmouth, cycle and also called Simon... My parents live in Sidmouth now and my dad is a keen cycler too (I am/was until I got out of shape after moving + lockdown)

That's about 20 minutes from where my parents live.  If only we were allowed to travel...

If you're interested it could be acquired and left on the side road near me. I would say the drive but my wife would kill me if it stayed there for a few months until lockdown ended. I don't want to push my luck too much as a E28 needs to come and clutter up the drive soon. 🤣

Not far from Yatton station, so I can easily pick you up or it's an hours max walk here. Personally those Toyota's really don't excite me anywhere near enough to want to consider even buying it. Especially to justify getting in trouble with Mrs SiC over it.

Going by the bright paintwork and non faded lights, I reckon it's lived a lot of its life in the garage.

Used to walk down past the S&C every day to school back in the day. (30-odd years ago now).

Used to live up the top end of the village.

Worth reading the advert, just for the amusement.

150 quid with some sparkly stick action needed, my Mot tester did ask me last year what I was planning to buy that needed welding...

That is the same seller who enraged @BorniteIdentity the other day by describing themselves as "OAP pensioners".

'A little known fact is that Cagiva were the fore-runners of wankily named bikes, long before the Chinese got involved. This extremely rare Minge Dynasty bike is remarkable in that the vendor literally couldn't actually be arsed 'luckily exploring' round to the other side of it take pictures, so we'll just have to fucking guess what it looks like'

All that needs now is a propeller on the front and Dick Dastardly and Muttley with a BFO net inside it.

My better half would like to point out that the bridge is in fact crocheted - knot knitted! Sorry to ruin your joke :-)

How the hell do you thread that white needle though, M8?

Just a small amount of black magic is required, failing that Lindt will suffice

That is extremely good value.  If I were you (and you were me) you'd knock on the door, give him £300 and then stick it up on Autotrader for just under £1k.  Then, with that money, buy yourself some car parts and your wife some petrol station flowers.

Fuck off, I'd want new tyres for that.
