expertly converted the car to diesel from its original 2400 petrol/ 4 speed gearbox.

 

That's what had been done to the saloon I had. Right ball of fire that'll be, particularly with a full load. I once coaxed an ear-splitting 75mph out of mine. :shock:

Local chod seller update, the same seller who has the crusty Jag XJ6 now has a couple of other beauties to keep it company...

The Sierra is ambitiously priced given the rough paintwork and patch of silver overspray on one tyre, I suspect there's a little filler here and there despite the clean sills and arches.

 

The Escort has been around with that garage for years, it was a standard one until a couple of years ago, now fitted with roll cage and spots but very tidy and clean, obviously well looked after.

 

There was also an R-plate Escort van in decent nick for £400 but Photobucket ate that photo.

 

Surprisingly, the bizzare granny-rally Rover 25 appears to have sold since a couple of weeks back.

That 144 is the earliest one I've seen for sale in ages.  Even has a B18 and everything.  Added to watch list.

 

Amazing to think that Rangey is 42 years old.  I'd love it, but it'll go for way more than I can afford.
