apart from been as water tight as the  average colander, what else can go wrong with these, cos i think they could be ok to drive.

soggy, wet and mildewed to hell inside apart, of course.

I loved mine. One of the few cars I really regret selling.

They're pretty fragile cars though. You have to remember the warranty claims on them pretty much broke SMART by 2008 and had to be bailed out by Daimler (Mercedes).

'spares repairs due to tapping noise but goes quiet after a while'

Asking for a friend: that likely to be sticking tappets?

Yes, likely to be the TADTS start up sound of a 1.4 K series. Usually goes after a few minutes. Mine does it. I'd be suspicious if it lasted any longer than that. Proper oil change, maybe bang some Wynn's shizzle in, makes a world of difference.

Only thing to watch for on these are funny electricals, usually caused by faulty relays welded to a practically impenetrable BCU which is buried deep behind the dash - almost impossible to extract if the car has AC. I still have the mental scars from doing mine.

That's still a good looking car even in that state, I suspect it's future may be oval though.

The M3 then spent a couple of years just down the road in Lowestoft before being bought in 2017 by the current owner from Brentwood who works for a commercial vehicle servicing and recovery business.

Having had a Nissan Juke breathed on by Nismo previously, she was looking for something with a bit more bite than a standard model, so when her car-dealer brother found this one, she thought she’d take it off his hands before he had a chance to sell it.

It’s been her commuter car and weekender combined for three years and now she fancies a change. She’s not sure what will come next but, having grown up in a petrolhead family, it won’t be anything ordinary that’s for sure.

Connoisseur saloon, V6, brown (burgundy? bordeaux?) leather - all for £850

I've always wanted a V6 Rover 45. Shame I can't do any car buying right now :(

'Just failed MOT on welding'

And about 275,000 other things.  In fact, if you're bored the MOT history of this car is comically bad.

It's done 12000 miles since October 2019, where there was not a single mention of rust.

12000 miles in the fkin sea, sounds absolutely fkd with rust or did he just upset the tester 🤔

Wow, what a great deal, this definitely is something special (as far as a 45 can go).

although gumtree does not let you directly copy and paste images, you can extract them quite easily if you go digging in the website back end/source :)

like so :) (and then you can right click the image preview on the right and copy it or open it in its own tab etc)

(hopefully you can make it out still, the Forum software has shrunk the screen shot...)

I think it is a recent change on Gumtree, used be very similar to eBay on pic hosting.

I think its been like this for a while now, I remember having to go digging through the source to extract the pictures of RRE20L when Fraser had that up for sale on gumtree a couple years ago
