This is virtually identical to one I had back in the late 90's, even down to the Mk3 front spoiler. Mine did have an aftermarket beige vinyl roof though.

For £850, this is the cheapest mot’d and somewhat presentable manual Mk1 MX5 I’ve seen in a while. I doubt it’ll stick around long. It’s even a Eunos import, which now seem to be more desirable than the UK Cars.

Somebody on here once promised me an explanation of how you change a clutch on these in 30 mins without removing the gearbox.

Last night, I dreamt that I transferred my engine and gearbox out of my omega into a manta, and turned it into a rally lookalike. 

And now you show me that.

And 35 mins to swap a clutch on a 1.8 mk3 cav. 

By law all maintenance tasks, should be certified by the European Union, and if the design is good, and maintenace can be done within 30 mins, you can get CE approval and if not, your car cant be sold in Europe. 

A cam.belt on an 8V OHC Vauxhall.engine could be done by a decent mechanic in 45 mins max, which is too long.
