Because of interchangeable parts, there have been built all sorts of combinations.

My dream would be an omega 3.2 block, with 2.5 auxiliaries from the FWD V6, mated to a 6 speed Turbo gearbox in an early 2.0 4x4 shell, with L trim and steel wheels

So sleeper IRS 4x4 6 speed with about 210 bhp, with bags of torque and grey bumpers.

Whilst I wholeheartedly agree with your sleeper idea, having owned both a 4x4 and a couple of GSIs, I still don't reckon you can beat the style of the gsi spec and rasp of the redtop. So addictive.

A quick gurgle reveals the garage in the service book exists, at least. Much better MOT history, with the only concern being the corroded front jacking points.
