Worth every penny for that gear selector.

There was one identical parked up for sale at the end of my road back when I was about 25,almost certainly less well cared for but at £495 or offers it was massively tempting nonetheless. Can't remember why I didn't now, probably skintness. Saw the poor old thing about a month later being smoked (literally) around Coventry city centre with four Asian lads on board and the fog lights permanently on, never saw it or another again until now. Should have bought that.

HELCH?

Some graffiti piss-artist who painted over the landmark "Give Peas A Chance" graffiti (itself a few decades old) on the Chiltern Line viaduct over the M25.

I'm gonna 'go in big' and say £2500 for that Legend. £8-10,000 is patently absurd

I could be talking out of my arse but i have a vauge memory of police-use vehicles not needing an actual MOT certificate, just needing to be deemable as "roadworthy" due to the way they are maintained.

Grain of salt, mind.

Black Lotus is not going to be sold.

Reason being he looks so happy sitting there, the owner hasn’t the heart to move him on.

I fitted a lightly tuned 16v into a S1 106 Rallye with the super short gearbox. It was absolutely fantastic - only 130bhp or so but the car weighed nothing and there was no turbo lag like on absolutely everything nowadays. It pulled really hard all the way up to 118mph which was the rev limiter in 5th gear. A stripped S1 rallye weights about the same as an AX with all the bits still on it.

Here's an old video of me driving like a bit of a flute 15 years ago:
