https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/698451640644886/    I've only owned the car for a few days after it being my dream car for years. I bought it off of a classic mini speciallist in glasgow. My reason for selling so soon is Ive been told by the Mrs. Its a lovely honest example of the morris minor, not immaculate however perfect for a 55 year old car.
Passed my car test a week ago and started out in this and it brought a smile from ear to ear.
Car is 1964 so no need for tax or MOT however I was told when I bought it that it needs some welding in the driver side rear. Cant imagine it would be too difficult as theyre so easy to work on.

So this is unbelievable.

Dream car.  Bought from a mini specialist who didn't bother to weld up the easy repair.

In my opinion, there needs to be a basic mot for all cars.

Passed his driving test last week. Loves driving it.

Wife tells him, it's got to go.

So sad if any of its true.

has social care broken down in Scotland fully? Are the community mental health teams not fully staffed.

I mean WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?????

What drugs have been invented that would see that as sane.  And £1 would be £1 too much

Odd advert. Car said to be in the Republic of  Ireland but has full Spanish documents and photos of a distinctly non Spanish plate. The number plate surround is  for somewhere in  Paris.

Despite Spanish docs has it now been registered in RoI?

It sounds a bit fishy . More like he bought car, realised the arse is falling out it and driving old cars maybe isn’t that much fun with double d clutching and crap heaters and is trying to offload it .

Having learned to drive in a traveller, I reckon another possibility is "passed my test a week ago, got in this and took 10 attempts to get the thing to pull away without stalling, then it was slow and all the gears crunched,  then I tried to stop and the brakes made me cry and scream!"

It's not wearing import classic plates if it's been registered in Ireland however...

Should be "ZV 1234"  or the option of "78-D-1234" that being year-county-random digits

The setting in the photos is very Irish though, especially the bungalow with the 70s cladding!

Assume that you knew about this one's existence?

Yes, this is 'the other one'. I tracked it down and went to see it to take various photographs to see how the thing was supposed to be put back together. The vendor didn't know anything about it, and had never driven it nor did he intend to. He was a used-car dealer who had no interest in old cars at all and was clearly hoping it would come good as 'an investment'.

I wanted to go back and make some detailed measurements of the seats, but the guy told me it had sold 'to somebody in France' which I assumed was bullshit but here's the confirmation. I think I know who is going to buy it but It will take a helluva lotta work to make it 'nice' - wrong wheels, running boards, wings, it's had shock absorbers fitted, loads of extra shit on the dash etc

I'd wager there's a 'Powered by Fairy Dust' sticker on the boot.

New speakers throughout including partial shelf cost over 100quid.

It’s perfect. Car and photo aspect..

I've been to see that, seems a pretty genuine and good example. The current owner a Citroen enthusiast, he also has a Xantia for sale on eBay, and seemed a really nice and genuine guy.

Drives well, interior in great shape no saggy seats etc. everything works as expected, windows, mirrors, sunroof. There's a bit of surface rust on the outer O/S sill, and the inner N/S sill has had some sort of repair which looks to be a minor weld but all solid at the moment. No evidence of a recent cambelt change, but the owner has recently replaced spark plugs etc. There's a minor oil leak on the rocker cover, needs a new gasket.

The owner offered the info that there's a bracket that holds the LHM return pipes to the tank missing, but the hydraulics works ok as is, suspension raises and lowers as expected, and he pointed out that the rear spheres could probably benefit from being replaced as they look like the originals.

The paintwork is in need of work if you want a "posh" car, a few minor scratches etc here and there along with some poor touch up, but no visible rusting issues.

Scruffy T180 Celica, but surprisingly it has a full test and is fairly cheap.  Temptingly close as well, but mustn't.
