Dreamt of taking a photo of half your face in front of a bridge?  Feel an urge to occasionally post something others find hard to understand?  Congrats, all you need is this to complete your TooSavvy conversion course!

'Wants an MOT'. Looking at it, not convinced the thing wants to live at all.

I'm sure I've seen this in the metal - did it turn up to one of Trigger's Shotley meets?

It was for sale a week or so ago for £1200 less according to anoraks on FB. Maybe via ACA?

Nice local [to me] Camry.  Shame they didn't do an estate version of this shape.

They did sell them in some markets, but more limited than the previous-gen version. Confusingly, also sold with Mark II badging, which as a saloon is a completely different RWD model.

That Norwich one looks alright.

I came here to post this fine specimen, pretty decent value I reckon with the low mileage. Strange that they did some of the late V6 models with steel wheels and velour interior, makes for a bit of a Q-car though especially in domestic appliance white. Spare wheel cover fabric looks to be intact, which is unusual and suggests it's led a fairly gentle life.

I have a Camry search on eBay and I'm amused to see nearly-new UK models making an appearance on there.

Apart from the wheelz and price.  That's quite nice*

But would look better done to a mk2 because pop up for the win.

That's the problem with that kit. The bonnet is the original so still has the strange panel gaps where it use to dodge around the pop-ups.

That picture only suggests how long the front overhang is. Compaired to the standard rear the whole car looks off balance.

I like the wheels. They're familiar but I can't recall where from.

The owner replaced it with a Jag, I think, which is now rotting away in the same spot....

That's top shiting if correct - buying and selling chod from beyond the grave is one hell of an achievement!

I actually rather like this too.  Still looks smart in that colour, interior not too garish, and it has a six speed box.  BOOM!

And you get a fiver change from a monkey....

I like that. It's probably just about as good as a AE92 GTi-16 from 15 years earlier. I don't know what the vvti engine puts out, I'd guess about 110, which is the same as the 1.6 16v from the GTi.

It's probably slower 0-60 as I'd think it'd need another gear change, though I don't know for sure obvs.

I guess I'm trying to highlight the lack of progress Toyota seemed to make in the mid/late 90s.

Not just ANY 4 speed - this has got the 'nippy' 4 speed' box.

Sorry.  I know it's tedious and I'm totally a "man out of time" - but I struggle to see these as anything more than £500.  Exactly the same as Allegros.  Don't get me wrong, I like them - and my mathematics makes no sense as I plough thousands into a Sierra that also should have been £500.

I hope it finds a nice home with someone who loves it, but I'd be overwhelmed with buyer's remorse within an hour at £1500.  I'm not sure how easy it would be to move on either.

Enjoy/suffer the same rollercoaster of emotions I have this year by rescuing and restoring a car that's been laid up since forever.

Offers based on £500.  It's in Newmarket and I'd be honoured to film the "cold start" video for you in 1080p HD.

Cheapish way into classic ownership.

It's a shame that British rust is so damn ugly, compared with the sun bleached glory of the "fly over" states for example.  Still, not much actual NEED to improve - but plenty of scope if you so wish.

+ more doors for more wh*res.

Take all the shit off and you've probably got a nice Focus with some decent wheels.  Not for me - but it's £500.
