Yes, half that would seem too much for the Volvo. Anyway, I had to check wiki, but I believe that is a VW engine.

Some of them are 4x4 but it is one of those half-arsed arrangements where the front wheels are driven all of the time but the rear wheels are driven via a clutch that closes when " the system" senses a loss of front wheel grip. I tried one once, it was shit, not shite.

They do have a DeDion rear axle which makes them kinda unique nowadays though.
