Sure Bramz was a 1.9 Derv S spec version?  Love to have a 1.4 base Tempra like you had. I owned a 1.4 DGT Tipo which I regret selling. Was a great car, felt like a real upgrade from the MK4 Escort 1.4L I had before it.  I'll have another Tipo / Tempra one day!

Indeed it was a 1.9 D. Scrapped by the monkey I sold it to.

 

I have to say, that Tempra is insanely tempting. I might bid. I might not. I probably will.

Good luck, I had the three door version I bought brand new on an E plate. Surprisingly nippy and fun to drive. That one is surprisingly un molested, it's even got the original wheel trims.

Chaseracer's is tempting, and I'd rather buy off here, but personally I fancy a 5 door petrol one at the moment.... That eBay one is cheap, it's also cheaper to tax etc... Depends what you want I suppose.
