eBay tat volume 3.

I spoke to the guy about this . The engine transplant wasn’t logged on the v5 and all the paper work refers to the donor car.

To be fair the price of a decent 430 isn’t too far off this.

I'd be more worried about the rust problems in that particular generation of Es.

It does have some rust in the rear quarters. Not mentioned in the advert but in as an mot advisory .

WT actual F?!

Would it even be allowed on the oval? The first impact would see massive chunks of filler flying off into the faces of the other drivers.

"Couple of sheet-metal road signs and a coal-fire-guard for a grille, yeah, that'll look great.

Right, you cut the roof off whilst I put on the kettle for a brew. 6 more sachets of drugs for you??".

Imagine how you'd feel next day when you go to the lock-up with a clear head. And see THIS !!!

How TF did that happen? I do believe there has been a significant error of judgement.

Starting point, a 1960 Thunderbird (not a 65 as mentioned in the ad). ↓ ↓ ↓

A large car.

The bottom one is a spitting image of the one I had, although mine didn't have the (rare) factory sunroof.
Briarcliffe Green (sic). Needless to say that I ditched the whitewalls immediately.

I had it during the 1990s Batman craze and everyone went 'Batmobile, Batmobile!, I got sick and tired of it.

So there I stood at a red traffic light and some Birkenstock sandalled hipster with a Batman t shirt crossed the street,

unable to take his eyes off my car. So I said 'Batmobile, right?' through the open window.

He replied: Nah, man. '60 T'bird, right?

No-one's gonna confuse the ebay one with the Batmobile. Some twonk has chopped off the rear fins. Maybe it was bought as a scrapper with no rear quarters at all, who knows?

Looks ace that. No sure about the headlights though, whats the deal there?

Hopefully just some form of tinting product that can be removed. However as it has washers, assume they are Xenon's which are quite rare on a Mk 1

Go on, show those Chelsea tractors what a real car is like on the school run!

Too F-in right m8.  Needs a new exhaust though, so good luck finding one (or are parts supply OK on these?).
