Since when is that dodge van mot exempt?

When it expired more than a year before they bought it apparently (shows as expired September 2009).

Ta. I only need a door obviously, so will ask him if the rest of it is fucked. Be a shame to break it otherwise.

I think that Dodge van is my old one.  It had been downrated to 3.5T.  It certainly wasn't (and isn't) MOT exempt though.

Feck knows what MOT exemption they're claiming, unless they've been using it for educational purposes, it's not camperized so showmans living van wouldn't do it, not dual purpose so that's out too.

He says he has 'used it on exemption' so he probably just has it registered as limited use. You can do it on any vehicle. I used to have a van and a Disco, both limited use.

As for the weight, i could be talking out of my arse but i thought you just have to put smaller wheels on to downgrade the rating. I've seen a few trucks downgraded to 7.5 t but I've never bothered to look at the plate
