slant 6, according to the advert, though saying that, it looks like its leaning that far over onto one side, it could just about be a flat 6 engine!

The Corvair van is an aircooled flat six. Right at the back where all engines should be.

This has beige leather, and the wazzock hasn't thought to take one shot of it! Still, saved my laptop from being splashed...

This is on my manor, i did think about having a sly punt on it until I read the MOT history, it's pretty grim.

The MOT history would have been nowhere near as bad if it was doing more than a thousand miles a year; 700-series don't like sitting around.

That said, I looked at the photos, thought to myself "that will be rotten" and it was. That is no fault of it sitting, that's the fault of the vin plate saying "MADE IN SWEDEN". I've had 8 700 and 900-series and every one I've had with "MADE IN SWEDEN" on the build plate has been a rotten shitbox.

Crikey! Someone got in touch with me a few months ago after they found my photo of it on Flickr, advising that it would be coming up for sale. They were saying then they wanted £3000 for it.

I'd have thought it would be worth more than £1200 just for export. Can't get any MoT history up for it, but my photo from 2014 suggests it was tidy enough:

But then, a big lump of beige on the driveway affecting the property values right before Christmas might make *you see sense after a few weeks.  *wife and her friends

Or, it's f*cked, even though MOT testers didn't think so

It looks oddly familiar.

Didn't somebody from here travel a few hundred miles to view it and it turned out to be a heap of shit? Or was that another beige A-reg Mitsubishi camper?

Has the Dolomite Sprint finally punched through the 10K barrier?  Not yet, I think.  These dudes think so, and the car does looks mintaroo, but even so.  Hey, they need to recoup the cost of 14 metric fuck-tonnes of tyre spray, so.. GLWTS

NB: front indicators wrong way around.  Demand 5K price reduction.

I'm pretty sure the one AngryDicky was after was a coach built one, although there can't be too many do possibly it was this one

And I think that one was up north/in Scotland?

This beige one seems to have been down here in East Anglia for some years.

I'd seriously consider that, but tried to join that facebook group about three weeks ago and still not accepted (unless I'm doing something wrong)

Where abouts is it?

Burnham on Sea, Essex.  Shall I bung the guy a PM with your contact deets?  Asking price is actually stated to be $1000, but, unless Trump has invaded and annexed Essex (hey, Essex persons might even vote for him [/ooh, bit racist, Mrs Thatch, Ben Elton, etc]),  I suspect that he means £1000.
