Wtf ... another "I never knew these existed"

I would love this, however it does look like a serious weldathon

Man at first I thought that was a Polo breadvan with an Alfa front botched on by some wacky character!

Posted

I'd seen those before, but never in RHD.

(Potentially) nice car, but:

reg; lyb47y which kind of spells lybaty if you like?

WTactualF is a lybaty?

It would make a great Retro Ride car, just needs big rims and fill the large boot space with speaker boxes.(would be cool)

ohhhh dear :roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll:

'Mark' wanted £1195 in September when he was selling this - Wonder what 'Barry' wants 5 weeks later?

Drift Project??? ??

The 1256 engine that is in the Chevette at the moment runs but the big ends are hanging out of it.

The bodywork needs an awful lot of attention, and welding.

The bits I know about are : drivers floor pan has rotted out, as has the battery tray. Under the bonnet on the left side has rotted through on the inner wing. There are small holes under the windscreen, general grot around the car, no back seat, no headlamps.

All this for a mere £500 or so, well woth watching

Matra alert ... ok so it's a 1.6 with crunchy 3rd gear, but as well as 3 seats in the front and an MOT it most importantly has pop-up headlights.

Volvo 264 with added T&T, looks ace with the beige leather.

It's £2k, but 2 owners from new and only 36k on the clock I think it's good value and potential investment material.

Unless I'm mistaken these also came with the superb* PRV lump

That cockfruit with the Nissan may have sold it but he's got a stupidly overpriced Focus saloon on eBay so that's on my watch list now.

Now, how can someone who knocks up something as bag of toss loking as this...

I got an Imp gearbox off a chap who builds tiny scale lorries. He has a workshop in his garage and showed me it for several hours when I picked up the gearbox. Its very odd. He seemed to suggest there were several people across the country building these but this is the first one I have come across.

I've never driven one of those Cav soft-tops, but i have a feeling they might have one of the wobbliest bodyshells of all time. I'd love to have a shot in one!

I bet that Cavalier convertible would fire up first time with a jump start and a bit of juice. The mini lorry does look quite well made to be fair.

Its just a 1.3 AND an automatic but before you think "this cannot add anything to MY life" - think again...

Bask in its beige and butterscotch loveliness!

Save this, in more ways than one!

Looks class to me, sadly has offside wing damage (maybe more) and also on that Motorhog website, down in Southampton. Looks top notch though

2.5 V6 auto, full ticket and service history supposedly with old MOT's to back up the 52k on the clock. £400!!!

Congrats Bolls, looks alright and proper full strength Ghia too looking at all the goodies on board

Posted

FFS Bollox man, what are you playing at? You could have had a 405 Style with a caved in boot and quite literally no MOT or tax for £400.

Posted

Let me know when you're done with that Mondeo! Looks well worthy of flying the V6 flag for Ford in my fleet!

Posted

LOL'd at Rod

Hey, that's WINNAR Bolx. Even if it's a silver mk2 Mondeo. WIN WIN WINNAR!

Posted

Hey Boll. A mate of mine is breaking a mk 2 Mondeo in the same colour. I may beable to bum the door for you for a supa cheap price.

Sounds good LT! Make sure you bosh a pic on here of you bumming the door if that happens BTW.

That's insane value. 52k miles! Clearly the good old times have returned when it comes to cheap shite. Shame I've been selling rather than buying...

What the fuck did he take those pictures with? A toaster?
