Don't apologise for that Vectra mate, it looks fucking hopeless. I had to double check to see if it was the early, high mileage one I owned a year or so ago but unless it's been clocked it isn't.

This looks vaguely familiar

'I think it is a good chance to make a pick up from the car'

That's funny as I think it's good chance to pick this car up and make it into bean cans.

'1 off'

I wish the vendor of this TOSS CHARIOT would crack one off. Ideally on the top of the Post Office Tower in a high wind with no safety net. Not only does it look highly 'photoshopped' but it's nowhere near a fucking one off as about seven thousand other 'original' VW mongs have done this before.

This fella's saying this Alfa 146 has a boxer engine but I thought they were all t-sparks by this point? He recons it's done just 22k. I'm not so sure but it's only 450 quid so what have you got to lose (other than 450 quid)?

22k mile on a 96 Alfa, figure that means its been babied all its days by it's one owner and used sparingly or its spent a hell of a long time in the garage

It was on PH for £750, where he claims it's an inline 4. http://vanderluijt.nl/classifieds/used-cars/alfa-romeo/146/alfa-romeo-alfa-146-base--750-ono/826280

Think a 96 should be a boxer, if he'd put in a pic of the engine bay rather than using the same one of the side of the car three times we'd be able to see for ourselves.

£500 BIN with 9 months ticket and no tax, what do you reckon?

I reckon it's worth a punt, if it's an itch that needs scratched. Regular servicing isn't too bad on the V6's, anything more is a pig of a job; if rust gets a hold in the rear suspension area, it would take someone with your skill and perseverance, to rip it all out and sort it. But...get a good 'un, and they're well worth it. A T-plate V6 Ghia X estate was close to bought last year, to replace my old P-plate hatch; nagging doubts about a rattly engine put paid to that one.

Anyone up for a game of Gran Turismo?

...vs Legnum VR4. Only it's an auto, 'cos you've got hands like a dolphin's flippers and can't work the shoulder buttons on a DualShock.

Apparently, this is a:

HUSTLER HELLCAT ( BABY ASTON MARTIN LAGONDA )

Anyone ever head of this? I've heard of Hustlers before but never seen this thing.

Its made out of wood so I guess it beats washing painted metal.

THIS WAS DESIGNED BY THE LATE WILLIAM TOWNS A PROLIFIC DESIGNER RESPONSIBLE MANY BRITISH CARS INCLUDING THE ASTON MARTIN LAGONDA WHICH IN THIS CAR YOU CAN SEE THE SAME SHARP LINES AND ANGLES

WE HAVE FITTED AN ASTON MARTIN V8 BACK BOX SO IT HAS A NICE THROATY SOUND

Well, there you go, if you wanna 'be different' sod matt blacking and lowering your car and grab or even build yourself one of these.
