HereHareHere
(Re FIAT 124 Sport) Were these ever sold in the UK? I can recall ever seeing one?You knows it. I learnt to drive in a white P-reg 124 Sport, during a more innocent age of insurance risk assessment. It had a brilliantly shit poor-man's cruise control - a throttle knob you pulled out choke-stylee.
Cavcraft
Don't apologise for that Vectra mate, it looks fucking hopeless. I had to double check to see if it was the early, high mileage one I owned a year or so ago but unless it's been clocked it isn't. Ideally on the top of the Post Office Tower in a high wind with no safety net. Not only does it look highly 'photoshopped' but it's nowhere near a fucking one off as about seven thousand other 'original' VW mongs have done this before. RedSparrow
Do it. I've bought 2 motors off ebay with a promise of turning up with cash, with the seller cancelling the auction. And unusually for an ebayer I actually turned up and paid.
cort16
This fella's saying this Alfa 146 has a boxer engine but I thought they were all t-sparks by this point? He recons it's done just 22k. I'm not so sure but it's only 450 quid so what have you got to lose (other than 450 quid)? http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/alfa-romeo-146-450/1002448757#gallery-item-full-

Spiny Norman
It was on PH for £750, where he claims it's an inline 4. http://vanderluijt.nl/classifieds/used-cars/alfa-romeo/146/alfa-romeo-alfa-146-base--750-ono/826280Think a 96 should be a boxer, if he'd put in a pic of the engine bay rather than using the same one of the side of the car three times we'd be able to see for ourselves. CreepingJesus
£500 BIN with 9 months ticket and no tax, what do you reckon? I reckon it's worth a punt, if it's an itch that needs scratched. Regular servicing isn't too bad on the V6's, anything more is a pig of a job; if rust gets a hold in the rear suspension area, it would take someone with your skill and perseverance, to rip it all out and sort it. But...get a good 'un, and they're well worth it. A T-plate V6 Ghia X estate was close to bought last year, to replace my old P-plate hatch; nagging doubts about a rattly engine put paid to that one. Anyone up for a game of Gran Turismo? Stagea RS4... ...vs Legnum VR4. Only it's an auto, 'cos you've got hands like a dolphin's flippers and can't work the shoulder buttons on a DualShock.
