All of a sudden I've got a right 'egg-on' for a V6 mondeo, this one looks lovely:

£500 BIN with 9 months ticket and no tax, what do you reckon? Theres no 'offer' option but I'm half tempted to make him an offer anyway.

Do it. I've bought 2 motors off ebay with a promise of turning up with cash, with the seller cancelling the auction. And unusually for an ebayer I actually turned up and paid.

This fella's saying this Alfa 146 has a boxer engine but I thought they were all t-sparks by this point? He recons it's done just 22k. I'm not so sure but it's only 450 quid so what have you got to lose (other than 450 quid)?

22k mile on a 96 Alfa, figure that means its been babied all its days by it's one owner and used sparingly or its spent a hell of a long time in the garage

^ Alfa seller has had enough, so much so it looks as though he's about to blow his brains out over the driveway

I reckon it's worth a punt, if it's an itch that needs scratched. Regular servicing isn't too bad on the V6's, anything more is a pig of a job; if rust gets a hold in the rear suspension area, it would take someone with your skill and perseverance, to rip it all out and sort it. But...get a good 'un, and they're well worth it. A T-plate V6 Ghia X estate was close to bought last year, to replace my old P-plate hatch; nagging doubts about a rattly engine put paid to that one.

Anyone up for a game of Gran Turismo?

Wow, comedy gold at its best.

Apparently, this is a:

HUSTLER HELLCAT ( BABY ASTON MARTIN LAGONDA )

Anyone ever head of this? I've heard of Hustlers before but never seen this thing.

Its made out of wood so I guess it beats washing painted metal.

THIS WAS DESIGNED BY THE LATE WILLIAM TOWNS A PROLIFIC DESIGNER RESPONSIBLE MANY BRITISH CARS INCLUDING THE ASTON MARTIN LAGONDA WHICH IN THIS CAR YOU CAN SEE THE SAME SHARP LINES AND ANGLES

WE HAVE FITTED AN ASTON MARTIN V8 BACK BOX SO IT HAS A NICE THROATY SOUND

Well, there you go, if you wanna 'be different' sod matt blacking and lowering your car and grab or even build yourself one of these.

perhaps things like legitimately comparing wooden playhouses to aston martins are "in jokes" for people big in the hustler scene, I dunno, it's not a scene I'm big in.

Shitting Hell! An ACTUAL Arizona! I thought that name was only a proposal, and on prototypes.

Polo, with free pineapple, rattle cans, and angle grinder. And a year's MOT. But it's in Motherwell, so fuck looking at that for anyone, I like having wheels on my car.

The 'A' looks like a bent 'H'..a la 'Horizon'...

Ha, I noticed that! Bend the 'H', cut out the 'O', stick it together, worry about the 'A' afterwards...

Sorry Ash, it's a fake

Boo! I thought the a had just fallen off.

Hmm. That could be an interesting one. A standard Stagea would have a hard time staying with a Legnum, but that one's been tweaked so might have more of a chance, as long as the suspension's been set up properly.
