Yay Phil, good effort!

You should have shouted up, I so nearly bid against you on the Pony.

If I can help bringing it south, I will. Remember, I hope to bring your Rover bits to Shitefest for you... (I may arrive with a bonnet strapped to the roof of the BX, bumper inside, passenger seat removed.)

Yes, and I've just had it...

Plan;

Go to SHITEFEST (or other accommodation if I am very early)

Excellent stuff!, By this time next Saturday you'll have 40 random strange blokes masturbating violently over the bonnet of this hunny!

Well bought! 'Sonnet Tropicana' sounds weird, like a collaboration between Shakespeare and Wham!...

That Mazda is pretty fit. Not sure about the colour like, I reckon it would work pretty well in the flesh but it's a bit FOCUS RS GREEN m8!

Plus the usual:

:lol: It seems like every car on ebay today has had a "how many left" comment, That site really has a lot to answer for!

I think it was because Top Gear told everyone about it too.

But yeah, it has become the new 'CAR IS ELIGABLE FOR SCRAPPAGE SCHEME SO IS WORTH £4,000'.

'It was owned by a retired police man. He had had the car for as long as he could remember. He was in the West Midlands Serious Crime Squad and swears he had the car yesterday, eleven years ago and tomorrow. In fact he's never owned it all. The damage to the wheelarches was done when the car threw itself down the stairs and resisted arrest. He was/was not/was present when this happened. He would like to add that the fact the owner was black had absolutely nothing to do with it and that he has never been or will ever be racist. The officer who looks remarkably like him, shares the same name and badge number and was photographed doing a Zeig Heil on an NF rally in Birmingham was just coincidence'

GR9 for driving in bus lanes .... Long test and a bit o' tax - £650

I'm after a sensible diesel auto with space for lugging tat, this theoretically firs the bill, but I'm not sure if I could live with a metrocab

Wouldn't it get annoying when people keep trying to hail you?

^Also very difficult to insure, a friend of mine used to drive old Fairways and most of the insurance companies, classic or otherwise, refused to believe he wasn't actually a taxi driver
