That's brilliant. Love how it's powered by a motorbike battery held in with blue twine, too.

amazingly the MOT tester was quite content!

Battery insecure but not likely to fall from carrier

Great spot, thanks, extra rum ration for you tonight.

23/4/93 registered - 30th earliest left on my list. This was a 'suspected survivor' as it was in the @greengartsidedata, but nice to know it is still around,  but sadly doesn't look long for the world...

Opel Astra F - 1 OWNER - DELIVERY FOR FREE ( alike Vauxhall Astra MK3 ) | eBay

Includes free delivery from Germany.  You could probably be sneaky, put UK plates on it that match the reg and 'sell' the number to some tit with a 15 year old Range Rover.

This seems like an unlikely spec. Was there really a 3.0 Ghia Cortina in the UK?

I'm pretty sure that there was a South African 3ltr Cortina but not a UK spec one. In the the UK the biggest engine option was the 2.3 Cologne offered from about 77.

Are Crayford Capris really all that? From where I'm sitting it's a dubious aftermarket conversion which ruins the best bit of the Capri, the rounded rear window.

Anyway if they are 'all that' then it's your lucky day because this heap is just* £35k
