Earlier ones had poor crash test results....

Well they did for me ...

The front panel , engine mounts and bulkhead seems a bit weak , couldn't withstand the impact of a 30cm diameter oak tree at 60mph ...headlights nearly touching ,engine through the bulkhead ....

Apparently the back lights survived ok though !!!

One of our employees hit a steel stantion with similar results, although, allegedly he was only doing 15 mph at the time.

Base spec ex-giffer XJ40.  PCP white, 2.9 engine and cloth seats.  No trimz though sadly.
