Well worth enlarging the pictures to appreciate the quality* of the rivetted biscuit tins it's made out of.

Marc says:

 "Isn't it nice
Sugar and spice
Luring Triumph Dollies
To a life of vice
I can make a film
And make you my star
You'll be a natural
The way you are
I would like you
On a long black leash
I will parade you
Down the high streets
You've got the attraction
You've got the pulling power
Walk my doggie
Walk my little Reliant Kitten
We can make a scene
We'll be a team
Making the headlines
Sounds like a dream
When we hit the floor
You just watch them move aside
We will take them
For a ride of rides
They all love your
Miniature ways...

Not far at all, more than happy to go and have a look. Could probably do one morning this week if wanted, possibly best to ring you from car and give you a 'walk round' if you like?

If you decide it’s too nice for Barrett I’ll have it

Golly.  Not me.

Not that @320touring neither, cos no rolly wheel speedo.

Edit: that’s already half as much as that gorgeous Peugeot 505GTI I posted a couple of pages back.  I realise the bidding isn’t over yet on either of them, but it’s a crazy world if they end up on remotely similar money.

'Lovely side door.'

'engine has seized'

'These vans last forever'

Pretty sure the life expectancy of this one is measured in minutes.

Yeah that's properly nice. Wonder what a 1.4 306 is like on the motorway.

Tolerable, actually. Although it sounds like the valves are about to penetrate the bonnet at 80 or so, they've an unburstable quality, a bit like an old 2.5di Transit.

Mind you, ours is the 3-door, so is far sportier.

Weak point on a Safari/Familiale is the tailgate and roof section above that - the one that turned up at FoTU was showing signs of corrosion there.

So that Sierra is complete, in the same way that the Titanic is complete, just spread across a couple of miles of sea bed. This looks almost as inaccessible too.

HML says 45 Charade Diesels left. Did they do diesel on later versions?

Had a lot of welding to pass last test, barely moved since:
