21st century executive Renaults are capable of moon mileages with no* issues at all, see Mrs. Barefoot's Vel Satis.

 

The autobox is probably a generic Aisin one, no more of a risk than an automatic Volvo or Toyota of the era.

Three box Avensis 2.0 turbo diesel, these things are quite rare - the petrols are probably more fuel efficient on average and quicker, it's veg friendly though.

 

Plus TWO Corolla 2.0 NA diesels from the same seller at quite salty prices. They have really cornered the market in unlikeable diesel Toyotas from the 90s.
