That Safrane was £400 on eBay for about...3 hours?

 

Fair play to the seller buying it and then flipping it, the story about him/her having to sell it is a bit of a smoke and mirrors trick.

 

It's a nice looking example, but they really are so slow.

The Safrane was indeed £400 but was sold I was told to a local chap who was infact a trader and advertised it for £1250 the next day!

2.0 is slow and underpowered for the body weight,2.2 was better,anyone going to have a punt on this?

I think its called "buying for stock" ie take a punt on a cheap good looker that will sit well on the forecourt. Doesn't matter if it hangs around for a while and if it doesn't sell run it through the auctions.

The "cruise control: untested" boils my custard. Either, he hasn't driven it more than quarter of a mile or it is broken. Whichever it is, it's a bollocks thing to our in an add and I'd be that dick looking to chip off £500 just to be a dick.
