That is outstanding. GR37 for re-enacting Duel on the A470.

Yes. I think you need a Chrysler Avenger for 100% authentic effect.

It's what was left over when someone used the rest of the car to produce a much more valuable (on the market) open tourer or sports. Pity really ad doesnt mention the coachbuilder but an expert can probably tell. What to do with it? Well someone might find a spare chassis but would it be worth it?

This was/is common and nearly happened to my Mark Vi Bentley, fortunately the special builder decided it was too good to chop up, sadly many coach built bodies have been scrapped. I wonder if it could be made to fit on a lwb Land Rover chassis.

1991 Gen1 Legacy 2.2 na

Camberley, England

How rare is this?!! Ive owned the Legacy since October last year, I’d been looking for a generation 1 for ages.

I actually bought this off a friend and the plan was to convert it to RWD and make a rothmans replica and use it as a school car for my Rally school, unfortunately time and space has run out and I now think it’s time to move her on.

It’s the 2.2 manual model and is non turbo. The engine is excellent and always starts first time no matter how long it’s been sat! It has a noisy clutch release bearing but hasn’t caused any issues, gearbox is good.

Needs brakes bleeding (changed the front callipers when I was using as my daily and never got round to bleeding them..) and a patch or two of rust in the usual places.

Seats and interior is all good and comfy and all electrics work. In summery, a rare Generation 1 Subaru Legacy that’s running and driving but needs work.......

Struggling to think why spending £29,995 on a fucking bin lorry with a cigar tube on the back is a good idea.

Awful pictures but looks interesting.

Its last roadtrip was in the early 1970's, when it was used for a family trip to Europe, driving through France, Germany, Switzerland, Lichtenstien, Italy finishing in Venice. Rare in those days!

In need of restoration for promo work or as an installation.

Its for sale with a convertible Rover V8 (see add no. )

Beakers do turn up now and again so a rear bed or whatever should turn up sooner or later. Worst case, I know a couple of chaps in Portugal who could probably assist ;)

Nah, just build a tray back for it, Aussie ute style.

There are plenty of plans/drawings available if you are handy with the angle grinder and the MIG.
