Nice Z3

Nice oxymoron.

I wouldn't drive this now for the same reason I wouldn't when they were everywhere: Audi couldn't be bothered to convert the wipers to RHD.

5 cylinder with a (hideously complex) Zenith carb.

I've read that 5 cylinder engines don't really work without fuel injection, how does the carb work on these?

The last time I played that game I accidentally burned the house down because I forgot to turn the sauna off.  The first time I played I died drink-driving a tractor.

I say it's hanging upside down on those wires and the pics have been flipped....

Yea, that's what I thought. Inside a  container for added difficulty?

It is the inlet manifold design that is complex for a 5 cylinder on a carburetter - how to get each cylinder inhaling equally - rather than anything special required of the carburetter itself.

My dig was not at the 5 cylinder, but at the poxy Zenith carburetter, the (very) weak point of an Audi and a BMW I ran for about 6 years each.

I had a Passat GL5 with a carb, ran fine for me.

I think it's inside a shipping container and it;s somehow chained to the roof to allow another car to be stowed underneath. Those chains from the wheels stop it swinging about.

Knowing that everyone here is more into this than anyone else in the world, I thought I should help a very good friend of mine with selling his awesome '86 Daihatsu Domino. It is a very honest, clean car and he put a lot of effort into this little Daihatsu to make sure its stays that way during his ownership. If you are interested please let me know, he's looking for a good home for it.

And to proof that he is one of us: He bought that 330Ci convertible parked right next to it to swap the drivetrain into his 200 quid Skoda Felicia pickup, RWD conversion and everything.

That Domino is gorgeous, if more than double my budget..
