*Be warned: the interior is like a stay-at-home-yummy-mummy's bedroom

Surely this deserves to die by an International Thermo-Nuclear Incident. That the owner is LOOSE on the streets puts any fears about knife crime and terrorism firmly on the back burner, and the Kobra Kommittee should be urgently assembled.

'Has had so much spent on parts and labour'

Yes, most definitely time and money well spent trying to artex a skip load of Everest windows cast offs to the roof, it's completely un-noticeable. It's just a shame VW didn't already make a sort of Golf-like pick-up, they missed a right trick there.

Yes, highly brilliant work replacing all the 'complicated' standard electrics with several thousand feet of speaker wire, some of which appears to have been plugged into a fucking domino. Let alone the safety deposit box mounted to the front, which presumably throws a winch wire out for the RAC when you crash into a postage stamp on the road.

Deserves a second look.

That is 999/10 shite :-)

Brilliant.

I'm not going to lie, I actually quite like that!

^^ There are a few more older pics of it on t'net. Maybe some history too.

It's a Stanislaw Tatar Sokol.

Now, would that be the catholic, or the protestant emerald, sir?

As a committed WASP I don't think Mr. Ford had much time for Papists. Hence his cars were utterly conventional. And boring.

snapdragon..........

its badged as a lowley "L" so i don't think it would have had these quad lights (which look so very fine on an allegro) or the headrests from the factory, but i wouldn't let that stop me.

s-l1600.jpg

if only i had not bought that hatefull little shitbox mini, i'd be all over this like fleas on a dog..... FUCK!!

Fuck me, I want it. Bit rich for me mind.

What a shame the Sokol has got into the hands of a typical Dubber who has done the all-important job of junking the engine and replacing it with a wheezy VW lump and lowering the whole thing to a stupid degree, and then butchering the electrics. Totally out of keeping and inappropriate.

That thing has been on and off eBay as long as I can remember. It was Sir John Whitmore who made the first effort to save it, I think, but no subsequent owners have had much luck getting it to work. I'd say it was about 75% less likely to ever go back on the road after the last owner's efforts. Great work man!

That Sokol must have been some weapon when if it all worked.  Look at the electronics inside the door.  In fact, everywhere,
