These are lovely. I had a couple of laps of Brands Hatch in a demonstrator and I’ve never forgotten the experience. They sound nice at full chat.

Great motors!

I once got a ride in 'Kermit' the only mk1 MG estate made, which is bright green hence the name. It just needed a little more ooomph, so tell him to visit Zeus who do the 400bhp supercharger conversion MG Rover never got to finish.

Big fan of these, already considered a classic. I'd happily have one, but I doubt they'll ever drop into my budget! :D

Also the only Rover post 92 that I've ever wanted…….. I absolutely love these. There was an estate for sale on the Blue Forum I was drooling over - but never had the nerve to pull that trigger. I'd love a supercharged version via Zeus - here's hoping.

Love these, Its the Rover one i want. More understated. I would have to get a 1.8t badge for the back and a you've been rovertaken sticker for it. Massive want for one.

I'm going to be a spoiler here.

There is a local giffer rover garage near us. I lusted after one when they selling them all off cheap on fold up of rover.someone in the village got one and that resulted in drooling every time it drove past.

A fair few years past and stars aligned Mrs 95 and I got one. What a mistake, underwhelmed to buggery, try as we could it went 3 months later

ford based v8??

Yeah they used a Mustang V8 in these. Didn't even take the pony logo off I don't think.

However I believe Junkman is referencing the fact that at this time Rover was owned by BMW

I think he's referring to the fact that the brake fluid reservoir is full.  No self-respecting Rover would be seen in public in such a state.

It was owned by the Phoenix crew when the V8 was developed.
