If I win this, MrsDC will have my ballbag for bangles since there's been a redundant Laguna of one sort or another blocking the side gate of our house every year since 2014. She was just saying how nice it'll be to finally get the lawnmower out this summer without a contortion act.

 

Before the Lagunas, there was an atrocity of an Alfa 156 which I couldn't bring myself to scrap because I'd paid £1500 for it just a few months earlier.

 

Before the Alfa, there was an XM estate (which turned out to have rather less metal in the structural bits than originally supposed).
