I have a Pashley Pronto in my shed as a matter of fact, I bought it off Aston Martin at Shitefest.

It’s a bit kippered though, it needs a chain, the brakes need freeing off, and the gear selector cables and bits are all missing. Also the powder coating has cracked and fallen off in places, and let the frame rust.

Kind of a shame I’ve not done anything with it really. I was going to use it for work but that’s actually a terrible idea considering I get the train in.

You'll not believe this, but I've turned up another two boxes of car stuff in the attic. Worryingly, this is all stuff I thought I'd got shot of two years ago, so what else might still be lurking up there is cause for botheration.

 

Includes:

• The first seven issues of Real Classics mag (the kind-of sequel to the legendary Jalopy magazine, with Paul Guinness in the Editor's chair and Frank Westwood providing articles)
• About five or six issues of Vauxhall Motorist from 1971/72, plus another three or four from 1998/99
• A whole heap of Corgi Classics/Vanguards brochures between 1994 and 1998, plus many other mid-90s 1/43 model catalogues (Minichamps, Vitesse, Trofeu etc)
• Assorted random single mag issues of unknown provenance including Kit Car mag from 1984; late 60s modded car mag; 'Flypast' (about WW2 planes); Irish Classics mag, NEC show magazines from 2007 and 2013, and much much more... (I don't even know where these came from)
• A box of car badges, inc a Maxi grille badge **TAKEN** and others in varying degrees of decrepitude...

I have come here to tell you all a great tale of Woe surrounding a very good friend of mines Van, Its an Escort van on a Y plate (2000-2001) - Unfortunately, the camshaft snapped resulting in him needing a new cylinder head. Van has just sailed through MOT so probs worth putting a new head on if he can find one.

 

Its the DE engine....Has anyone got a head laying around they could sell to us to get him back on the road?

Jerry can, proper one, I think this came with a Munga I once had. What a fine thing they were.

Tyre balancer. Came from frost. Couldn't get on with it, pack of balance weights included

 

All the above is free. I'll post the sensible size stuff at cost. Ask if you want it but can't get, something might be possible.

The last thing is not free; its new even thought it doesn't look like it, a mark 1 transit radiator, petrol. Cost me 12 quid, that's what I want for it. I'd rather jump on it than put on eBay these days. The last thing I sold was the 803 engine. 99p it made, but buyer didn't show...
