Paid! It's only now I look at the location, any earlier is cheating! Just the 4 trains and 7 hours 45 return drive it turns out

Well Sod’s law says I won’t win, being just around the corner. (A paltry 188 miles.)

Just paid btw, sorry for tardiness.

I'm a bit scared in case I win.

I'm a bit scared in case I win.

This is partly why I didn't enter, but not having any space in this street banjaxed the idea anyway.

I hope I do and don't in equal parts, with the Volvo still knackered and the ailing Free Lander, I could well end up car less if I'm not careful!

FFS I've been in for so many roffles, can't believe I've actually won one! Will PM you asap with a plan. When I think of one...

Thank Christ I didn’t win.

It will! Are you offering a lift in your A2?

Actually is anyone needing a car shifted south?

Is anyone near this that needs a lift northwards/Wants a shot? It will be taxed and insured. Even a bit closer! I would like to collect it myself, have been looking at travel plans but it's not a good time right now obviously... Does look much cheaper going into next year. Thankfully it's not needing moved desperately!

Seen a couple of people talking about dibs on it, PM me with insulting offers if you are still keen...

I really should attempt to get this myself though, I've entered so many roffles and not won! It was annoying me so much I was putting money down on cars I didn't want or need. Pretty sure up until yesterday I was our unluckiest roffler, I should add up how much I've spent but I'm terrified of the answer!

This Xantia is one I did want though. A Xantia is the first car I drove (legally), I remember going out with my dad on my 17th birthday in 1996 for a shot of his company car ( a maroon TD think it was an SX). Also had a shot of Adrian RML's petrol version last year and enjoyed it.

Fuck I'm going round in circles here. Wait until my wife finds out!

Congrats Aldo, that looks a nice steer.

Hope you can get down to get it, I've been to Folkestone with an old job before and the train from St Pancras was very quick indeed.

I should jump in with an offer, as it's theoretically exactly the car I need, but I'm afraid finances aren't exactly brilliant, and I'd still need to sell the Corolla, which isn't looking as easy as I'd thought.

Know the feeling mate, especially at this time of year... Good luck with moving the Corolla on, I like that too but same old I've not got much cash either... I seen a joke on Facebook about getting Christmas wages early but not getting paid again until the 91st of January... I think lots of us will be feeling like that!
