Cycling North After Winter

I reckon you should whittle one out of wood!  Or Ateam it - Get Saabnut to lock you in a barn and you can only come out when you have a new upgraded trailer ready to go.

Is it possible to climb a tree and defecate from a high branch onto a tent?

If you're the Pope? In the woods?

Which would be an ecumenical question.

"Die fecking foreigners", shirley?  Plural innit.

Sounds like a Daily Mail quote though...

Liked for the grammatical improvement (which was bugging me), also the Father Ted reference.

...or knock up that CramperVan you've always wanted.

Two steering wheels and two sets of pedals means Saabnut could accompany you on your odyssey.

There is no UNLIKE button so having to do it the long winded way.

Still, should be possible to fit a V8 somehow.......

Tell your 'friend' that I'd be surprised if he could still climb a tree at his age.

I think you may have got yourself a bit too comfortable there and we are going to have to set you spotting targets!

Now obviously a Visa spot is highly prized and would entitle you to several days by the fire!

Mission finally accomplished earlier today.

Have I earned some warmth?

I'm ready for my next target.

Fantastic!

I will mark the candle as to how far down you can burn it!

Being a 17RD it should have a rear wiper.

Have you seen a GS yet?

Nope. Is that my next mission? If so I reckon it might be a while before I earn the chance to snuggle up to the candle again.

Don't forget Mrs6C still wants all the Visas in France!

And an LNA would be nice. Maybe then you could light the candle!

According to the internet I've spotted them all.

There are about 30 Visas in the UK capable of use and around a further 100 on the DVLA website so I think France can do better than that!

Now what I want is the French Holly-grail a "Westend" they are all maroon with alloy wheels and leather interiors.

I would like a photo of a trailer being left on a train platform please!

Or a left hand drunken drawing will do

On a more serious note, how can we get you a replacement trailer?

Can someone cycle over with a spare trailer, in a trailer?

To be honest I'm quite glad to be free of the trailer. It served me greatly up until our heart-rending break up, but it's time to move on with my life.

The weather will only be improving and therefore I will need to carry less stuff so I'm just going to knock up some kind of rack at the front of the bike to carry some of the load and do without a trailer. The decrease in drag, and subsequently pedalling effort needing to be expended, will be advantageous when I move on from Casa del Saabnut and encounter actual hills and the like.

Damn, I was hoping to get mine out of the garage

I'm sure it's going to be 'interesting' trying to fit all my tackle on to just the bike but I'll cross that bridge when the tide's out.

Bucketeer could name his bicycle Buckeroo? Or maybe it doesn't have a name at all...

I was looking at the Decathlon pannier stuff the other day in their Oxford branch. Looked pretty decent stuff at very reasonable prices.

I'll be going back once I get the house move sorted. Not least I'll be having a 50-60minute cycle each way into work and my back won't last if I wear a bag on my back.
