Paid safe in the knowledge that I'll get the Mrs to fetch it on the way back from work (in Inverness).

Only slight problem is that this is the first time she has driven up so it would mean leaving the Pug up there for a couple of months.

Paided - will get bollocks nailed to the door should I win.

Fingers crossed then,

Paid.

The reality of the potential of accidentally acquiring a car that my girlfriend specifically forbade me from having is setting in nicely now.

I've done the maths.

Ticket £2.50

Plane £23

Fuel £90

Dayinsure £30 (includes breakdown cover)

= £145.50.

Doesn't sound too bad really.

Now I've justified it, I won't win. I hope...

Insurance...borrow trade plates

I thought trade plates only covered Tax. You still have to have MOT and insurance, no? (although that could be part of a traders policy perhaps)

Paid.

I happen to be in Glasgow next weekend for work, which would coincide quite nicely.

My wife's face would not.

I'm sure it wouldn't take too many hours to tickle this into a desirable vehicle.

It will come with tax to get you home and will show up as insured, whether you want to insure it driving home is up to you. I'll be transferring the insurance over in about a weeks time

I hope it is tonight, because I'm going out and so won't find out if I've won or not until much later.
