Hi - long time lurker on here and very occasional poster on the "other" blue/grey forum.

Based in Northants and a lover of generally shite cars with an extensive AS history ranging from Fiat 127s (I had two), Talbot Samba S, Series 3 Landy, Citroen ZX TD, through various (8 at last count) VW vans (currently on a T4) and plenty of boring company cars as dailies. 

Current fleet is an 04 Mk1 TT 3.2, a 96 VW T4 Westfalia and a 22 Tesla Model Y  - plus a selection of two wheeled toys.

Got long term hankerings for an early 80s Saab 900 and a Renault 4 van which will need to be scratched at some point.

I have two shite addict friends: Golf GTI MK1 convertible and Audi Quattro, who would like to join but I can't remember the protocol. They are both normal and not right wing nutters. And favour the shite side of life.

Should be an option to create an account when you first login. 

The accounts need approval before they can start posting. Then first lot of posts need approval per posts. Once past that, full and free access.

A few of the mods go through the approval list every so often to accept. It might be worth giving a mod a message with their email addresses/usernames once their account is made, to speed it up and get them approved sooner.

I own /drive sometimes a few older things, my newest car being a 2010 passat that looks more like an apprentices attempt at painting but hey it goes anywhere I point it comfortably.

Various projects ,possibly the roughest T5 van which my mate gave me,a B1 passat estate,mk2 golf and a spares car 

2 mk2 escorts that are actually not to bad, a big Lt35 van a couple of Bongos and another for spares an astra thing that the roof won't go down on. 

I try my best to help my mates which results in my stuff lying all over without much being done to them 🙃

Well hello all. Firstly may I just say, “its all Grizz’s fault I’ve signed up”. Been following him on another forum for some time (since his teardrop build), and heard about this site after his recent aquisitions from here. So I thought it looked worth joining up.  
So I’m 40 years a gas engineer, but grew up in a garage environment and have had a brief two year sabbatical helping a cousin run his garage too.  Therefore I look after all my vehicles, having a huge mistrust of all forms of Stealer. 

My current flock consists of 

6 bikes. (XT1200Tenere, Blackbird, ST1300Pan, FJR13, R850GS, CBR6Track bike)

Two day to day cars, mine n the wifes. (Mazda6 Tourer and my old Astra Estate with a dead turbo atm) 

My work van. (VX Combo)

A VW T4 Autosleeper moho.

An old MGBGT thats not seen daylight in 20+years, one day I’ll give up the bikes and hopefully get it running again.

And an old 2 berth swift caravan with a huge awning for taking our grandson away. Only just bought this, so it’s taking up a fair amount of time as we get it tidied up etc.

Hello all,

I genuinely thought I was a member of this forum from long ago… but it would appear not! Perhaps my old membership expired. So, I’m saying hello as a ‘newbie’.

As the name suggests, I’m a bit of a Hillman Imp nut (currently have a ‘64 Imp Deluxe, a ‘67 Imp Super, a ‘76 Imp Basic and a ‘68 Sunbeam Stiletto), but also own the ex-Furious Driving Ford Mondeo (the Mouldeo) plus a VW T4 Wesfalia Camper.

I’m based in Northants and… well that’s about it, I guess!!! 😎

Evening, been watching on here for a while thought I'd join in. We have a small collection,  my own cars are a 1987 Range Rover, 1980 TR7V8 and a 1973 Lotus Elan +2S130.  My wife has a 1997 mx5 mk1 and a 2010 fiesta, my Daughter a 2005 StreetKa and my Son  1969 Morris minor, Bunglebus has snapped a couple of pics of some of them in the past.
