8/10 listing, would have given it 10 but your photo of a screen really needs to be a mobile phone screenshot of a mobile phone screenshot on Facebook to reach Peak Gumtree.

Alternatively, here for a very reluctant sale is my 1989 Mazda 626 2.0 GLX Velourlicious Edition. Last month I was stuck for an MOTd vehicle and RobT very kindly offered me this car for £300. He had it for sale/roffle at the time at £375. Which knowing Rob was probably a fair bit less than he paid for it.

His thread for it is here - http://autoshite.com/topic/29751-a-capella-1989-mazda-626-content/?hl=capella

My time with it is here - http://autoshite.com/topic/29767-my-ax-and-ax-and-buy-my-626/page-7

I love this thing but I am staring into the skint abyss, so I would like £300 for a quick painless sale. The MOT is 'til Oct. The bodywork is good, the interior is spectacular velour. An old boy had this from new until about 3 years ago I believe, and did 30,000 miles. The next owner did another 30+k and then Rob took it over. He went abroad in it, and I would happily drive it absolutely anywhere in reliable comfort. It's been great for me, wanging me to work and back effortlessly. The two main faults are the dented door (and perspex window) well documented on Rob's thread, and the high idle at cold.

I would also very much appreciate first refusal when/if the new owner comes to move the car on.

It's located in GU16 but we can talk about delivery or whatever.

I see this place is back to 'Fresh Temptation Every Day' then. Good grief. Anyone want an S-MX? (I really need to put some effort into actually selling it!).

That interior is tremendous.

As described in earlier thread - fanny magnet.

If I hadn't just bought the Rover I'd be all over this. Glwts.

I'll find out if the Merc is worth repairing or scrapping tomorrow.

So I maybe very tempted if the latter

It really is a cracker. Nearly 30 years old but can be treated like a modern in terms of daily usage. But is far more interesting obviously.

DW you need to own this for a bit, seeing as the Starlet isn't proving mile munching material. Thus also saving me from having it back, as temptation is there!

Having read DW's account of his most recent long drive, I think he needs this Mazda too! :-)

If I can shift the Honda, I'd buy it. No room at the inn otherwise. Starlet needs to hang on a little longer yet.

Hello Bucketeer, Looks like a great car and would do me a good turn. I'd be interested in buying the car if it is still available. I'm new to the forum and don't know how passing contact info works.

Just use the PM (Private Message or Personal Massage or summat) function by sending a message from the recipient's profile page. Or send a sack of cash and jewels.

How much to deliver to Scotland?

The price of the petrol up there and the cheapest (usually Megabus) transport back.

When's Dollywobbler collecting it? LOL

Soz, that's my own stupid fault. My message bank was full. Should be okay now.

Cheers, another forum member has made a similar offer of collecting and delivering it. I'd like the car but think there's a good chance of someone closer who actually needs it getting it first and I'm OK with that.
