Wherever you are, whatever you are doing, please remember that there are people much, much sadder than you.

Therefore YOU win at life.

moving house next month, this place is up for sale and I can't afford it so I have sorted another place out. It has a 2 car drive, so hopefully I can fit both the Galaxie & the MGF there. That will endear me to the neighbours, I'm sure.

Has anyone ever tried to move house in and MGF? Might take a few trips...

Yes. But not me.

Book a dry day. Top down, you have a powered trolley :)

Took the ST to college today as it was brakeing funny. Turned our the back passenger caliper was seized.

Managed to get it all apart and cleaned and greased all the other breaks. Someone stripped a bolt though putting it back in too tight which would normally be a grump be we went to the scrappers and had a proper laugh being a cock.

Luckily there was an ST 170 right at the front and it was the only Ford with the right bolts. Got them all and the pads for the massive sum of £3

My €200 scrapyard fodder Escort has turned out to be a sound wee car - Does everything I ask of it, is smooth and comfortable to drive (Yeah, its not a luxobarge but it may as well be after rattling everywhere in a gaylander on knobbly all terrain tyres) has so far been utterly reliable and is blandly anonymous enough that nobody recognises me in it.

I started tinting the windows yesterday...hopefully get that finished tomorrow, and I reckon it will be a keeper for a while.

It took some help with the shaping of the metal but most of the hole has gone. Just need to use some sealer and then a small bit of filler. Having all the right tools helps a lot.

On the way to the gym with Mrs N ,an MG ZT 260 with a Mustang badge on the grille and boy racer exhausts roared past, it sounded amazing even if it wasn't that quick. Anyway she said " Why don't you get something like that, you could act like a child on roundabouts and still keep your licence" I took this as a suggestion to stop baiting MG man and tacit approval that we can replace her car with something V8 and noisy.

SWMBO bought a nice double bed from facebook for £50, with £10 on top for them to deliver it. Win

I listed our current bed on facebook for £30, hoping it would go before saturday morning, as it would have to go outside when the new bed comes, and if its raining that would write it off, and it's a nice 3/4 size divan.

Sold for £30, being collected tomorrow. Ooops, SWMBO in Evas full size single bed, me and eva on an air bed for a few days. Meh, brings the cost of the new bed down to £30!

After a morning of torture with BT - I was rewarded by the sky pirate ....

Was watching my neighbour across the road last weekend knocking his fence down and opening up his driveway,

Hmmm, must be buying another car...Dont like the twat, quite an arrogant mouthy spunker.

Today he arrived in a new Dacia Duster , as I was weeding the front. stood up to look, he gave me a smug look and waved just as he backed onto his newly opened space only to hit the open porch door, pushing it off its hinges and ripping the frame out the porch, I smiled back, smugly, and continued to pull weeds out, whistling the Laural and Hardy theme tune as loud as I could

Happy days ......
