Are you making a Tracy island esque underground garage?

Nah, its a missile silo, shirley?

The clock in my Scenic hasn`t worked at all for around six months

It used to before then if you slapped the dash

Hit a massive pot hole today. Clock came on and now works fine with no slapping involved :)

Thunderbirds, new series starts this Sunday. Will it be any good ???? No more puppets though, but will the Traceys still bounce along ? It seems they have not aged but have all had an eyebrow trim and some computer aided Botox. All except Parker who is just the same and apparently still voiced by the same person.

Why am I excited ? Second childhood started maybe !

Took a leaf out of Beko's book and sold a Dyson I'd cleaned up and serviced. Made a whole £20 for the new watch fund.

As long as your not near Oxford I'm happy for you! £20 all in or £20 profit? Which machine was it?

Win of the week (non automobile related I'm afraid)

I had a 8" gap in a section of coving after removing a cooker hood.  Shortest length to buy 3m.  Went to the tip on Monday, spotted the plasterboard skip had a rummage and found a perfect length.  Scraped the old cement off, cut it to length, glued it in place and painted it last night... you'd never know.

Renault electrics ftw. I need to find a pothole that'll make the speedo work. Without making the rear speakers cut out once and for all.

Yes, my first thought was underground garage too. They should make the 'cover' with removable middle sections so that when in the air it doubles as a four poster.

That's got me thinking now. A good old four poster lift could be installed in the hole, with a piece of lawn mounted on top of 8' stilts. Instant underground garage for a few hundred quid. Instead of a perfectly manicured lawn with a Porsche rising up out of the ground, there'd be a bit of scruffy grass and weeds with oil stains on it and a rusty Morris Ital appearing to squeaks and groans of the old Tecalemit.

That'll teach me.

I drove an MG3 on Tuesday, and then an MG6. I found the 3 to be quite slidey around corners, the 6 was more planted but not as grippy or quick to accelerate. Steering was quite heavy in both.

The air con in my car hasn't packed up over the winter period. Also, considering that I pay the heating bills I am very much enjoying this upturn in temperatures

PS Scaer particularly  and Finistere generally seems well and truly financially fooked. Great shite though.

Will post pic of smallest fire engine in the world when I remember how to do it

There is a 1974 Transit fire engine at the place I'm working today, I think it's still in use. I'm tempted to start a fire so I can see it in action.

mmm, you can smell the LHM from here.  I would say check out the XM Ambulance but that's just out of shot so you'll have to click on the link.

Just seen a car with a number plate, that on first glance, read; PENIS!

It was actually PN15 something, but it made me laugh.

PN15 is the new PO02. Loads of people apparently rejecting their brand spankers because of the prefix!

Was it on a 3 series BMW???
