After thinking there was no MKV Cortinas round here, I have seen 5 in less then a week! There was a Beige estate in Basingstoke, 2 more Estates in Weybridge with another under a cover, and that V8 engined Saloon which parked outside yesterday!

did a music quiz down the pub last night, and we walked away with the prize money (£50!), had a 20-point lead on the second placed team, which was made up of our mates....very, very satisfying. think we'll be back next week, hopefully we didn't scare everybody else off....

Totally owning my Ex' who phoned the police on me (As i nice and calmly told her i was coming to collect my things)The Rozzers rang me and explained it would be best to not go down due to a number of reasons (Religion and her family)I then said to "Rozzer lady" .... Thanks mate Yeah it was quite simple to be honest.Just read through a good theory book , then use the Theory CD for an hour ever day (Although i only did it a few times)If you need to lend the book & dvd, drop me a PM Best of luck

I read the book and found the theory test a doddle.I also went out the night before my practical test until 5 in the morning, and my test was at nine. I'm rather embarressed to say I still had alcohol in my bloodstream when I took (and passed) my test. I nearly threw up on the tester at the end though.

I got a cancellation for my driving test and consequently had 11 hours to prepare for my 9am test. I hadn't driven since failing my test four months earlier and I no longer had an instructor.I stuck a pair of L plates on my mother's rusty old Viva and Jonnyvalenta of this parish sat beside me while I practised my manoeuvres, hampered slightly by the lack of reversing lights.9am the next morning I turned up at the test centre with the same rusty old Viva, hoping the examiner wouldn't mention insurance. He didn't and I passed.

My toothaches gone All ready to go the Driller Killer on Tuesday morning .On Monday the pain did change from agony when drinking to just agony when biting , Tuesday the pain was still there but easing off so i didnt go , Today , no pain at all , im guessing it was an abysis , so no Driller killer or wallet crushing bill for me

Finally went to the Dentist today, which wasnt too bad despite the dentist being a seriously moody bastard. Anyway, apparently its a gum abcess (which I guess isnt that bad considering a tooth one leads to a root canal) and I have amoxicillin for it. It bloody hurt when he prodded my gum with that sharp pokey thing though, just to ask me if it hurt.

After killing the Maxi battery (see Grumpy Thread) I took it down to the shop I got it from & gave them a bit of bullshit about it being faulty. They wer happy to exchange it but wouldnt have the right sort in till next Thursday. Balls.So they charged the old one up all afternoon & its absolutely fine.
