I watched that the other night, I loved that Ramp truck smoking around the course and trying to stop at the end!

Roadkill is the show that Top Gear should be if it didn't have to be aimed at thickos. It's just so satisfying.

I've only just got into it myself, along with Fast N Loud and Counting Cars, I'm so behind the times.

From the Roadkill faceache page it sounds like they're expanding from their once a month show ... i really hope they do.

What I need to know is how the hell they are allowed to drive some of those things on the road, do they not have any sort of MOT type test over in the states?

Size of country divided by number of police cars is probably a better number than in the UK.

I notice that some US states want to introduce ANPR-style cameras which would have a record of which cars were seen where (very similar to what we have in a lot of places). The American citizens are up in arms so I guess they currently enjoy a lot more motoring freedom.

Nice one Cort16, I can't remember the last time I saw a 2dr Cortina

Wow, 2 door! When did you get that?

Exactly what I said. It must be 20 years ago since I've seen one.

I've not got it yet billy I get it in a couple of weeks. It's a 1.3 base but it's got a 2 litre pinto and 5 speed in it.

Well, I was feeling a bit gutted that your SD1 had eluded me, but now I'm just going to wait until you get tired of that absolute honey instead 8)

Reading this Renault workshop manual someone emailed me for the Clio, which I then printed off all 91 pages. I came across this which made me giggle.

I like green cars* and that is a proper green car, though to be fair, it would look good in any colour**.

I saw a Mercedes Technical Service Bulletin for the W639 Viano which tells you to put the rear wiper relay inside a plastic bag to stop it getting wet.

I'm working down in London this week, so I was going to buy a (not cheap) weeks ticket for the journey. I went on the website earlier to double check train times, and was surprised when I saw the fares. I'm travelling out of peak hours so I can get cheap tickets ... The usual railway rubbish, 2 singles are cheaper than a return, so I bought 2 singles for the journey tomorrow, £16.50 outward and £12 for the return journey, distinctly less than average daily cost of the weeks ticket.

My boss is talking about replacing my van.... again.  This time he seems rather more serious, and has uttered the phrase "pre-registered Transit."  I could be in for something nearly new here!

Whoa, 2 door mk4 gives me wood. Well played that man.

Found a few old pics of my first (legal OTR) car the other day, I'll scan them in sometime and post them up.

New transits are bloody fantastic to drive. we hired one with less than 100 miles on the clock a couple of months back, just the bog standard low roof swb but it was amazingly refined, comfy, powerful, in fact I'd be happy with one as an every day hack. genuinely little to dislike about it.

My current avatar is a screen grab from Challenge TV, a couple of minutes into this episode of Celebrity Squares in fact

Hey, Richard, I could be wrong but that video of a noisy turquoise Volvo probably isn't the one you meant to post.

Balls. I've fixed it now.
