Well for a change how about a nice story about ebay.

 

As was reported yesterday in the grump thread I was a wanker and managed to kick a football into my sons sand table busting the leg off.

 

Quick ebay search brings one up supposedly within 10 mile for only £5 but it's got 5 days left to run.

 

Send a nice message asking, as I'd bid, if they'd end it early so I can pick it up tomorrow (today now). He only went an and said yes!

 

One downside is actually he was in Mirfield not Wakefield (yeah I know not far but far enough in the dark and rush hour as he was only there at about 5) so ebay a twat again but Mrs Shrimp asked if anyone she knew nearby could get, there was and they've picked it up, be here Thursday!!!1

If I can keep at the top (and I've every intention to), then I might be able to afford a second car by late winter/early spring. Will be looking at small, old, and hopefully RWD.

Swapped the hedgehog resistor out on my E46 after work today. Loads of horror stories about what a bastard it is so I wasn’t looking forward to. 40 minutes start to finish and all good. Lots of lying with my head up the back of the dash but at least not the three to four hours some have said it takes. The endoscope was an absolute godsend.
