Astonishing coincidences. You appear to live up the road from me and I once lived in Ruabon. (And Coedpoeth which was much nicer) Still married to a girl from Llay.

DOES NOT COMPUTE. I'm struggling to think of anywhere Coedpoeth is nicer than.

Just as well they put those cones there, I would never have seen the fucking huge bus without them.

Yup, he sat for 4 days in a spot where it was not safe to stop ,locals told him to go to a better spot but he only gave them abuse, then hissy fit. He destroyed a number of road signs and police were called and just lay on the road and may have told them to F..... off. Handcuffs were produced then. Charged with destroying said signs and released on bail.

To finalise the item started by Castros Bro, The gentleman appeared in court today. It would seem that he had been also identified on a store surveillance video too....

Kinky Girl is taking me on a trip tomorrow that includes flying scotsman. It's prolly going to be crammed in sardine style with the chance to look out the window at a sea of anoraks, but I can dream it's going to be nice. Positive thoughts where never my strong point.

I double checked yesterday, and I've definitely got a junction box with some 2.5mm T&E coming out of it nailed to a 18" plank of wood balanced on top of the open topped cold water tank.

Perhaps it's some sort of warning system, if the ballcock jams and the tank overfills the electrics (hopefully) trip as a signal.

That's brilliant that & people wonder why we aren't allowed to wire our own houses now.

Marvellous moment in town car park today.  A driver bumped into the car in front in horrible stop-start queues at school kicking out time.  The driver in front got out and was clearly at that time in his day (we've all been there) and pretty much exploded when the driver did it again.  Both bumps were at approximately 0.0000000001mph.  So as he's starting to cause a scene, asking her to get out, the guy that does the car washes in the car park steps over and very calmly totally defuses the situation, I don't know what he said, but it was enough to restore order.  There was no massive hoohah, the situation just fizzled out and everyone got on with their day, it was quite surreal really.

In other exciting* news, I now have a toad in my garage at home.  I paid for delivery using see-through fivers.

i was a little bored yesterday afternoon so thought id fire into project teabag which is a mk1 sierra for mrs fp, i started cutting out rot in the drivers front wheel arch and knocking up repair sections for it, i split the repair into 2 sections as the area was so large and the shape would have been difficult to make

first section welded up

second section which i did today

mid making the repair section, the repair goes into the engine bay

Got an email from DVLA offering unsold numbers from this week's auction, some pretty optomistic reserves, so no wonder they didn't sell. Wonder if he'd buy it if I invest* £2,200?

Quite like 733 HEE, not enough to spend £1200 on it of course.  Surprised 837 TY didn't sell, perhaps Betty isn't as popular a name as once it was?

The man sounds like an utter penis, but how the fuck can a sleeping bag be worth 560 quid?

It is if you steal the best from a hideously expensive upmarket shop !

As you become older, you start to realise your parents were right. They were.

The Rolling Stones. Fucking brilliant.

If you're not familiar their work, I recommend you become so. Start with Sympathy for Devil, and Gimme Shelter.
