My tiny bit of paint for the green dollop has finally turned up! Yay!!!! By the time it did, it was a bit late for messing wiv the motor and it was cold and I was tired and I.... so I shall see if my colour theory holds up tomorrow! Having had a glance, it looks promising.

Seat belt simulator sounds like the worst PS3 game ever.

These work but I still had to switch the light off with a scanner on a E39.

My 2003 E46 had the light on intermittently, it hasn't came back on since i plugged one of these in.

It wasn't necessarily the one in that picture though, my mate was ordering one for his and got me one at the same time. Cost £7. Can be done for pennies if you want to do it yourself though...

Lord Sterling found me some proper Rover fitted rubber mats for the 400.  I won them on eBay for 99p.  There are likely no OEM Rover mats this man cannot find.

SWMBO is in the middle of cooking yet another delicious dinner, just presented me with a horses doovres plate of several strips of the loveliest crunchiest salted crackling off the pork joint and a couple of end slices to whet the appetite, wondrous.

I think they're just a single resistor in a box. They work though.

Someone had karma watching over them earlier, I finished work and mrs fp reminded me that we needed to get a bloke at work a leaving card, so I went tesco and saw a Jimny with its bonnet up at the empty part of the carpark, so obviously I went to help as I had tools in the car, by the look of the fella and his mrs they had been there a bit, the battery was borked so I gave it a jump and sent him on his way, I would have expected a busy place like that someone would have helped before I got there, I like being in the right place at the right time

Starting work at 7am this week, which means I leave the house at 6:30. Only problem was I forgot to set my alarm this morning, just by chance woke up and checked my phone to see how much more sleep I could have, only to see it was 6:28. In just over 5 minutes I was in the car, and got to work with time to spare. MAN SKILLZ

Had this the other week at the cinema with the family, came out and it is pitch black and walking back to the car I hear the 'CLICK' of 'not enough power for anything' and there are two girls a couple of years older than mine in a Corsa (I think, about that size and it was dark) so I got the Mrs to tell them to pop the bonnet (stranger danger with me approaching) and got the booster pack which worked a treat.  I would hope someone would take the time if when my girls need help because their dad has convinced them that a car worth less than a handbag and shoes is perfectly usable!

Anyone who uses the expression 'baby daddy' should be immediately brutally murdered, without being given any opportunity to explain themselves.

As should anyone who posts in the wrong thread, before they can protest that they're not used to using the forum on their phone.

would it be a silly idea to get the drivers wing, both rear doors and bootlid off the white zx I have locally, and make my car into a chequerboard of white and green? Every alternate panel would be different...

Office reorganisation half way sorted. In that I've reconnected the computer and got the Autoshite calendar up now.

Today is a good day

Just get EVERY panel off it then aerosol the tiny rear quarter. You will just be left with a green roof and that will look fine ☺

The local streets are jammed to sillyness every fucking day with 'sports studies' fucking wanker students randomly dumping cars and making the road 6 foot wide at best. Many is the time you have to reverse uphill for 500 yards when you meet someone coming the other way. I hate the bastards.

Why the grin thread? Somebody else doesn't like them either. Said person has obviously driven up the main street with an assistant who is pouring pink paint out the passenger window. There's a lot of cars with a nice new viper stripe.

in that london again! Dream Theater this time!

All I can really remeber from my bro's drumshop days is "Mike Portnoy is a wank"

Neat little homage to the WINDSLAMMER with the skateboard bolted to the roof.  I'm cool* and hip* enough to have an actual real WINDSLAMMER.

Mrs DW properly laughed out loud at that, and called it ridiculous too just in case I didn't understand the level of laughter.

I have just found out that the guy in the Jimny was my FIL's manager, he was telling FIL about a lad in a black sierra who helped him out
