What makes you grin? Antidote to grumpy thread

Not sure if Grin or Grump but I will put it here anyway....

Spotted this dude at the DIY shop tying a couple of thin sheets of plywood to the roof of his car. No roof rack mind, just straight on to the roof. He hadnt even unscrewed the roof aerial, just bent it over underneath the wood. He was tying it to his wing mirrors with what looked like lengths of cloth ripped from a sheet.

I am amazed that people this stupid exist. Actually, Im not amazed, you only need to look around any public place to see that the stupid are everywhere. I am amazed that this guy made it to his relatively advanced age without learning some important lessons though.

Its a windy day too....its all fun and games until some poor sod going the other direction gets a sheet of plywood through their windscreen.

I have actually seen this situation 4 or 5 times in the past. The best/worst was at B&Q in Aberdeen where the dude had some sheets of ply sitting on his roof and thought he would be fine just holding them with his right arm out the window. He got as far as the mini roundabout at the exit of the car park before it all ended up on the ground.

Here's an even more ridiculous ferry scenario. The mind boggles!

Massive red lorry, No bother.

Lada Niva, er, aye go on then.

Bloke on a 125 scooter - mental.

Crew stood on the far right - BALLS OFF STEAL!

If that Veyron picture/story is true, I hope the owners finds who did it and draws a knob on his/her forehead with acid.

Indeed. Why is it 'fun' to vandalise posh folk's property?

Lol at the veyron I think it's improved it :-)

Well let's hope you find it just as amusing if someone vandalises YOUR property...

I think the owner can afford someone to buff it off or at the very worst paint the panel

Posted

in fairness the person who owns the veyron probably has the money it will cost to get the bonnet painted in pocket change.

this is in no way justifying the vandals actions as its a cunts trick and the jealous little bastard who did it deserves to be strung up by the testacles

So if you can afford to get it repaired it's ok for someone to vandalise your property?

Posted

That's ok then, my neighbour has nicer windows than mine so I'll just lob a brick through them. He can afford it.

Come on, chaps - this isn't the FB page.  Cup of tea, anyone?  ;)

At least its a decent sized cock.

If I was vandalising a Ferrari Vernon, I would have drawn a tiny cock, but massive. In acid. Then I would have drove it through Billys neighbours windows.

Since when was mindless vandalism means-tested??

To make a statement why not print off a picture of the Veyron, draw a cock on that and then leave it under the wiper.

Heaven forbid it's someone who has actually managed to make a success of their life and takes pride in being able to afford nice things. Sorry, but mindless vandalism in the name of jealousy really boils my piss :(

I'm sure it'll wipe off easily enough.

That's what Bill Clinton said, and look how that ended.

Seeing as we know nothing about who did it and who ownes the car can we avoid guessing if it was mindless vandalism of a nice sucessful person or of a total Jimmy Saville style c***bucket.

I'm not vindictive enough to enjoy the vandalism, but I am childish enough to appreciate the juxtaposition.

Offered to give a girl from my course a lift back, and when she saw my car she exclaimed "wow, didn't think we'd be going in a posh sports car!"

Mother in law rang before.

She is decorating, painting internal doors which involved removal of the handles.

She rang to enquire as to if one of us could let her out of the living room, seen as she had closed the door leaving the handle on the other side.
