Anyway back to topic, Today whist coming out of a fancy dress shop a few street back i heard this lovely sounding engine note, turned around to be confronted by this stunning looking pastel green 50's classic car being driven by a old boy, No idea what it was apart from it having ISIS on the back, A quick google later at it would appear to be one of these.

GR8 - I have an interview offer

Not gr8 - I applied so long ago I can't remember what the job involves and the vacancy no longer appears where I first found it

326 bhp, 378 lb ft.

Every weekend it makes me grin.

There's just *something* about a Jag, even a knackered old 2.9 XJ40 with cloth seats that my pal got free gratis. This is fubar, has about 40BHP and changes gear when IT feels like it. But, it has that Jaaaaaaag factor.

Maybe it involves having your ass wirebrushed by a flat-chested bolemic woman whilst leaning nekkid against your rental car? Could be an opening in that profession....

Nah, I don't want my personal and professional life to mix

No, I reckon they find it easy - there are no loose rocks that are likely to come down and brain them.

Me and Mrs T getting a lift home from a party with a pair of on duty policemen in a Focus Estate last night whilst dressed a pirates made me LOL a lot!

Spring is definitely here - the Sabberton Omen was out today. :D

Also making me grin was passing my old Laguna on the Norwich ring road (I always like seeing my old cars around), and then seeing a slightly battered E-reg Suzuki Alto up for sale with loads of T&T for £225 - my wallet was itching I can tell ye. In fact I might even trundle back up there after work tomorrow and see if it's still for sale.

Why were the policemen dressed as pirates? Is this a new policy for dealing with smugglers at the docks?

I'd like to know what makes Professor Brian Cox grin, the cunt grins constantly even when talking. Good job he's not a policeman telling someone that their beloved has passed away.

Having bought 6 tyres for the Land Rover for £45. 3 brand new unused/fitted, and 3 only slightly worn, one a tiny bit kinked where it's had something resting on it, ALL the same tread pattern Goodyear G90 10 ply light truck radials. That, and slowly getting outside a large bottle of Jameson's. And a cuddly kitten. AND actually managing to make a flat pack IKEA wardrobe first time with no bits left over!

Visiting my Mini today for the first time in ages made me grin. I'll grin a load more when I can actually afford to get it back on the road though.

Started using mine again after at least six months, I walked straight past the TVR and into the Mini, glorious day, sensible fuel economy and smiles all round.

Yeah, Minis are great! Who wants to make me grin and buy ours? Earn as discount by convincing my wife to allow me to buy that Alfa.

 I think real pirates would do a better job then the port police!

Speaking of Minis... Cyprus Mini Club had a weekend run to Paphos this weekend, culminating in an Autotest in a car park this morning. Naturally I went along for a look, in the Granada; a couple of other members of our club turned up too so we put on a little display. Those BMW handbag things are huge and ugly next to real Minis, aren't they! You'll be pleased to know the trophies all went to A-series cars...
