Last night on the way home from the Trafford centre I saw a Lamborghini Huracan, and a Skoda Favorit estate....

Can you guess which one I pointed out to my wife....

It's a wonder I still have any American friends with the visual puns I send their way, really.

It's going to be a gorgeous day again, woke up at 5am too hot

The roads will be a little safer though, as people think about the 5 year sentence just given to a hands free using driver.

Posh shite: driving on Euston Road, an immaculate JRG T-reg 7-series running on LPG with a wealthy- looking woman at the wheel.

Sadly I am not convinced a lot of the drivers I see 'think' much at all, but did have to laugh at the idiot in the Range Rover yesterday who followed my dolomite round the almost 360 degree slip road right up my chuff and gunning to get past my old road block only to be met by a road train of lorrys moving into the outside lane to let me out. I could of speeded up to more than 60mph but I was enjoying the drive so 55 seemed nice and I got to look at the blood boil in the Range Rover drivers face a lot longer.

Did you take it home with you?

Alas not, but when I stroked it it gave me one of those looks Judge Rinder does before he brakes through the sarcasm barrier at the speed of light.

The bravest used car dealer in the world?  A10 Car Sales has a huge lot outside Ely.  They currently have FOUR Mazda RX8s up for grabs.  Given that these things lunch their own engines for fun, this seems like a very odd - or brave - strategy in the era of SOGA and konshumers who "know their rights".  He's had plenty of 'goonas in the past too.

Royal Mail.

I find it astounding that an item I dropped of at the local post office yesterday around 1:30pm arrived at its destination in what looks like a very remote part of Scotland, a 2 hour drive west of Fort William, before 2pm today.

It's got to have got from here into a London sorting office, then preumably on a train over night, then from the train up there to a regional sorting office, out to a localish delivery centre/post office and then on to a van that was then driven into the wilds down tiny barely surfaced roads and possibly across a ferry.

And it cost no more than had I posted it to the other side of London.

In your situation I'd probably be trying embarrassingly hard to persuade her upstairs.

Is the K plate one ex Ford Lease? I had one on a Chelmsford plate like that it had been a ford fleet car for BT.

not sure on Kish, it's nice unrestored looking though. Are these flat 2cyl, sounds immense!

Is she Chinese and from Leeds? - If so I know her dad.

Amount of recent Kia's I've seen on the hard shoulder. But it has got a 5 year warranty!!

Spent a lot of time at a main dealer - used to own a 2010 Rio which was a bag of nails - number of Sportages I saw come in on AA trucks was staggering!

The K plate was a private car but it was from trimoco in Chelmsford, I only know this because the old fella who it was purchased from was the original salesman of the car, he sold it to his son at the dealership brand new, when it came to trading in time he purchased it from his son then drove it until 2012 when his daughter made him get rid of it as he and the car were too old, buying it was more like a job interview than buying a car, the advert openly said if he didn't like you or he thought you were going to drift or banger it he would refuse to sell it to you, we sat and chatted about old fords and his time as a salesman at trimoco over a brew before we got to look at the car. The old fella had a lump in his throat when he looked at it for the last time, I made him a promise that it would be looked after.

I'm waffling on again
