Partner's sister was after a cheap car that's CAZ complaint, not too big but with decent space. Keen to avoid remote car buying and being messed around I decided it was easier to spend the day travelling across the country to pick this up from @BeEP. Much like the V70 T5 I bought from him years back, it's a great little motor. Made it back no problems whatsoever. It likes to pitch about a bit on a undulating country road so you really have to hang on, not sure if that's old dampers or by design though!

It even came with a free colour-matched CD

Monitor and repair a not fitted tow ball?

Yeah, I did wonder about that. Maybe the electrics should be tested as well if the tow ball is fitted or something.

"Over the past 11 years, chassis 584 has been treated to more than £196,000 of restorative work. This includes a full strip-down and colour change to the current green hue by Haslams Body Repairs of Bolton. Invoices (available to view on file) from vintage car specialist VBE Restorations alone total £171,458 across 2013 as the 3-litre engine was increased to 4½-litre capacity while the interior was retrimmed with green Quartz Wilton Carpets plus Bank of England Green leather. Today, this Bentley retains its original numbered components: engine crankcase, front axle, bonnet, steering column, and differential nose-piece."

Sounds like not much is left then. Probably should be on a Q plate.

New shiny black UK passport turned up today.

Not a bad turnaround all things considered,it took a few days to find anywhere to get a good colour photocopy of my Bg ID card.

I’ve thought about replacing it a few times but as it just keeps going then there’s no point. It’s a great “an car”
