To be fair that isn't much of a challenge! The fact it can go around a corner is enough to be better than it looks.

£950 later, we have this.
Roll hoop, two year old hood, two sets of wheels, daises and 15" MX3 wheels, upgraded HT leads, a Bluetooth radio and adjustable coilovers. Blows any D-Series I have out of the water. Feels like more than 115bhp! People that say these are slow are mental.

A hundred? It's got to have more than that, feels faster than the outgoing 1.6 Civic (about 120).

Looks proper nice that, Max, well bought. Maybe it has a weight advantage over the Civic?

Rwd will make a difference plus they always feel fast :-)

Positive is that autos have lower compression ratio so good for forced induction - hence northern monkeys purchased.

Here's the first of my Shitefest videos. Wuvvum's shonky CX. Drives FAR better than it looks (sorry about the tyre squeal).

To be fair, my CX occasionally feels like it has trouble doing that at speed, and then the suspension stabilises at the last minute.

I thought I better clean the old E36 up today as I haven’t used it for about 9 months and it was looking very sorry for itself as it’s been sitting up the side of my bungalow and it’s booked in for an mot tomorrow so it’s fingers crossed but it might need a tyre.

If I wasn’t lazy I could of used the spare as it comes from a time when BMW would put a full size Alloy in the boot but the tyre on that looks like the 23 year old original so I guess it’s past it’s best.

Also I thought I better take the jacking point plugs off an give them another good dose of grease.

No, it's down about 70kg...

Bollox, I really wanted to win this one  - went mental at the end and was about 75 quid short.

These V6s Omega estates seem to be going for peanuts these days

It does have very squealy tyres on the front for some reason.  Can be a bit embarrassing on roundabouts.

I took  the E36 cabriolet in for its mot today and  walked back in the garage as the emissions were being tested and all the sudden steam came out the bonnet and the coolant dropped out underneath while on the ramp.

The garage was brilliant and someone managed to switch it off instantly and the poor guy  doing the mot had to get the sawdust out and it’s stuck on the ramp.

I had to leave it with the garage and hope it’s not going to be expensive.

If the coolant dropped suddenly it could be as simple as a pipe popped off or burst …. fingers crossed etc.

I’ve started to fall back in love with mine after it’s MoT pass, they truly are so much fun!

I’ve had mine 4 years which is the longest I’ve ever owned a car!

Reminds me of when I worked for a rather fancy publisher. "Why do you all own crap cars?" Seemed not to realise that crap cars were all we could afford...

P38 in garage because oil sender solenoid thingy is now leaking oil quite nicely. Oh, and the brakes might need a looking at. Something tells me that "P38" or "Range Rover" and "Garage" were meant to be together. Still, means something else can go massively wrong now.

Bongos bingo. My tinnitus is rampaging this morning.

Prizes included a cardboard Philip Scowfield, £50 of food from Mcd's, a motibility scooter and £2000

One round of drinks for 6 people came to £40.

The best description is bingo meets beer Keller meets acid house rave.
