It won’t be as bad as David Cameron’s visit to China a few years ago, wearing a poppy. A nice reminder that we got the entire nation hooked on opium and charged them handsomely for it👍 Cracking fleet update, I think once you get the Minor running right you’ll find performance is fine. Four-up attempting a long, steep hill will be a struggle but I bet you’ll find that 90% of the time it’s other traffic that’s holding you up. tommytwo 1
HMC Posted April 3, 2023 Author Posted April 3, 2023 Update- Word from Gloucestershire is that its being loaded up as i type. Dyslexic Viking and Six-cylinder 2
HMC Posted April 3, 2023 Author Posted April 3, 2023 Growing up, there was one parked up on a friends street, sort of derelict. I remember if our ball ever went astray and bashed the sill, it would flap around and huge chunks of rust would fall to the ground. I hope that doesnt come back to haunt me. montytom Posted April 3, 2023 Posted April 3, 2023 Looking good Matt I have a 2200sc aswell. My father took it apart and completly sorted out the rust on mine. Just a few niggly bits then it will be on the road. HMC 1

Marm Toastsmith Posted April 3, 2023 Posted April 3, 2023 I think that might actually be my favourite of the fleet, no mean feat. Are you going to have to sell something? camryv6 1
HMC Posted April 3, 2023 Author Posted April 3, 2023 So one reason it was so cheap was that “it wouldnt go into park” which to me sounded more of a selector rather than internal box issue- and so it proved. Ive just taken the top selector detent button and handle knob off and it goes into park just fine now. Dyslexic Viking, Shite Ron, gadgetgricey and 13 others 16

HMC Posted April 3, 2023 Author Posted April 3, 2023 does anyone know what this is? The little mechanism with the cable - it seems related to the fuel feed to the fuel pump - it was weeping slightly now has stopped?
Datsuncog Posted April 3, 2023 Posted April 3, 2023 Oh. My. Word. Top purchasing! That's a right bobby dazzler - especially considering that this time last year it was nigh on impossible to find anything at all for a grand. Looking forward to more!
Crackers Posted April 3, 2023 Posted April 3, 2023 Bloody hell fire. That's awful. I love it. Happy P6'ing!
HMC Posted April 3, 2023 Author Posted April 3, 2023 It seems to have every document it was supplied new with…. Tickman, BorniteIdentity, dome and 16 others 19

The little mechanism with the cable - it seems related to the fuel feed to the fuel pump - it was weeping slightly now has stopped? Is it the reserve fuel connection? Whatever you do, don't pull it. I had a test drive in a P6 once and it started to run out of fuel, the salesman promptly pulled the reserve tap, and 40 years of silt merrily flowed into the carbs and blocked everything. I still bought it obviously. garethj, somewhatfoolish, dome and 4 others 1 6
Clunk Posted April 3, 2023 Posted April 3, 2023 I remember this, how is the roof? Looked rather Crispy in the photos.
