HMC Posted July 4, 2024 Author Posted July 4, 2024 The papal (ie holey) P6 was used as school run transport for my Russian comrades teenage daughter today… Said teenager wanted to be dropped before the gates to not be associated with us. This could be the look of 1960s modernism in 4 wheeled form, the noise (blowing manifold gasket) or possibly the chauffeur’s shoes 😂 I also passed by my favoured welders / car restoration shop- because the sills are not good, as i knew, and as i have seen and felt. After much sucking of teeth Steve agreed a notional ball park price, and for the work to be pencilled in over the winter. Now ive got to keep it that long 😂 yes oui si, Peter C, fatharris and 22 others 17 8

Rod/b Posted July 6, 2024 Posted July 6, 2024 That Orion is the same age and spec as the hateful piece of shit I had 20 odd years ago. And now they’re retro-rides sticker wearing and cool or something. (No, they’re shit)
Popular Post HMC Posted July 7, 2024 Author Popular Post Posted July 7, 2024 What does £500 get you thats road legal these days? Not a lot. Certainly nothing interesting by and large. Boring really. Back in 2007 i was made up when i got a range rover classic for £700 and that was quite rotten. When you find a willing , straight seller its suprising what comes up. £500 with a stuck rear window (stuck down) and constant bonging every 5 seconds from the dash as “the windows need to be set” (which would push anyone over the edge TBH) that and it was VERY dirty inside and out. But with 3/4 of a tank of fuel, good tyres and an mot till end of october… 4.6 vogue in green with green and tan interior. Plus a quarter window thats plastic and not glass. But it was £500 so ill allow it that. egg, wesacosa, Jim Bergerac and 49 others 43 9
HMC Posted July 7, 2024 Author Posted July 7, 2024 The photos dont quite capture the grubbiness… I put it through a car wash, (after jiggling some wires to make the window go back) Then wet wiped and quickly vacuumed the interior, and went on you tube to figure out how to disable the window bonging warning. grizgut, sdkrc, DeanH and 41 others 40 1 3

Expand In my experience so far with mine, it would be only slightly irritating if the De Dion tube across the back didn't preclude just slipping under the car from the back. So you absolutely have to jack up and support it or get it on ramps to have any hope of getting to anything. Guessing that's Arctic White? Pretty sure that's the colour that mine was when it left the factory before being repainted in a warmer white at some point. How many P6s do we have on here now? At least three or four if I remember right. EyesWeldedShut 1
